If you're reading this it's probably due to that we reached out, and that's because we think what you're doing is genuinely cool. We'd like to talk about it. But first, here's us.

We are a small roastery and coffee bar in Malmö. Sweden. Short version: we source and roast specialty coffee, and we've built a company around it that looks and sounds like the culture we come from rather than like a coffee brand.

We're a small team from different backgrouds and expreinces but all connect for the same love: coffee and culutre. Hip hop raised most of us, and we never saw a reason to leave that at the door when we started a coffee company. It's in the posters, the labels, the room and what's playing at 10am when we open the doors to the roatery. Not a theme we put on top of the product. It's the reason the product looks the way it does.

We care about coffee taken seriously, ourselves considerably less so. We'd rather someone remembered the way a cup tasted than the vocabulary we used to describe it, so we keep the specialty attitude out of it.

Quality is the part we won't move on. Everything else (how it's presented, who we do it with, what a bag looks like) is where we like to have fun. Here's a thing about roasters. Most of them buy what fits how they already roast. Build your whole operation around washed coffees and a natural gets awkward... It doesn't sit on the curve you already know, so you quietly stop buying them. We come at it backwards. No favourite process, no snobbery about origin. We want to try all of it, and whatever we can't stop thinking about is what ends up on the shelf.

Culture is half the company

We build with people, not around them. Print shops, artists, dance crews, promoters, other cafés. Music, streetwear, design, events, coffee's usually just the reason everyone's in the same room.

Malmö has a real scene and we'd rather be part of what's happening in it than sponsor it from a distance.
